Woodland, Lakes and Bluebells
Our cottage in Giggleswick is well positioned for day trips to the Lake District. An hour and fifteen drive sees you in Bowness-on-Windermere. Highlights were the winding wooded lanes, shaded grassy areas filled with bluebells the views over Lake Windermere from Orrest Head, Wray Castle grounds and the lakeside walk there and the ferry ride back across the lake to shorten the way home.
